Day 1: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Enjoy a city tour of Kigali with an optional visit to the genocide memorial, before transferring to Bwindi National Park, via the Cyanika border crossing.

On arrival at the lodge (time permitting), you will be taken on a guided walk through the community to a scenic viewpoint, where you can see all six volcanoes on a clear day.

Overnight: Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge (Full Board – Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

Day 2: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Today you will enjoy the wildlife encounter of a lifetime as you trek the majestic mountain gorillas.

Optional afternoon activities may be discussed with the lodge. We recommend a visit to the local school and the BATWA community (extra cost applies).

Day 3: End of Itinerary

At your leisure you will be transferred back to Kigali. We will drop off at the airport or a city hotel.

** Flight departing after 2pm is required.

Those with a late flight departure or overnight in Kigali may wish to stop off at Lake Mutanda en-route, to enjoy a canoe excursion. Alternatively, we can arrange a half-day city tour.
