Day 1: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Your guide will meet you in Kigali and take you on a city tour before transferring
you through Ruhengeri to the Cyanika border.

At the border you will meet your driver from Uganda who will transfer you to the lodge for a stay of two nights.

On arrival at the lodge (time permitting), you will be taken on a guided walk through the community to a scenic viewpoint where you can see all six volcanoes on a clear day.

Overnight: Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge (Full Board – Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Activities) 

Day 2: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Today you will embark on the wildlife encounter of a lifetime observing Mountain Gorillas in their natural habitat. Spend up to 4 hours with them as you join the research team and follow in the footsteps of Dian Fossey.

* Please note, this trek requires a good level of fitness. 

Optional activities may be discussed with the lodge. We recommend a visit to the local school and the BATWA community (extra cost applies).

Day 3: End of Itinerary

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Kigali where you continue with your onward flight arrangements.
