Day 1: Arrival into Kigali

The VIP team will be waiting to greet you for you for the start of an epic adventure. Transfer with your private guide to a boutique hotel in Kigali and enjoy your first taste of Rwandan cuisine.

Days 2-3: Safari time in Akagera National Park

A fascinating journey awaits taking you through the bustle of Kigali to the farmlands and fields beyond. Arrive at your lakeside tented lodge for a delicious lunch on the deck. Enjoy the next 2 days of game drives and a boat cruise in the stunning Akagera National Park

Day 4: Return to Kigali

Drive the now familiar route back to Kigali, with coffee at a local coffee spot en route. Relax and enjoy some downtime back in the city or explore with your guide.

Days 5-6: Chimp trekking in Nyungwe Forest National Park

Time to head to Nyungwe National Park by plane to see the first of the primates of this adventure. Stay in a hill top lodge with fabulous views and enjoy a birds-eye view of the ground from a tree-top canopy bridge walk ahead of your chimp trek the following day.

Day 7: Lake Kivu

Travel to one of the African Great Lakes, Lake Kivu with its deep emerald green waters and mountains all around.

Day 8: Volcanoes National Park

A morning boat cruise is the perfect way to start the day before setting off on the journey to Volcanoes National Park. Settle in to your comfortable lodge for the next 2 nights.

Day 9: Volcanoes National Park

Enjoy the wildlife encounter of a lifetime as you trek the mountain gorillas. Head home to the lodge for a relaxing massage and volcano views.

Day 10: Golden Monkeys & return to Kigali

Spend your final morning in Rwanda trekking the playful Golden Monkeys before it’s time to head back to Kigali with a wealth of adventures to look back upon.
