Day 3: Northern Queen Elizabeth National Park

Spend the morning searching for the famous chimpanzees of Kibale Forest. It should be noted that because chimpanzees move quickly through the trees sightings are not guaranteed, however, Kibale forest offers the most reliable sightings and close-up viewing opportunities.

This is a hub of activity, with a lovely craft shop and a chance to engage with the local ladies. They even offer cooking lessons by pre-arrangement so you can learn to make the famous snack, a Uganda Rolex!

Overnight: Mahogany Springs Lodge (Full Board Plus – Dinner, Bed, Breakfast, Lunch and Activities)
