Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Entebbe
On arrival into Entebbe you will be met and transferred to your hotel for a stay of one night.
Time permitting we can make suggestions for activities in Entebbe. The hotel is also within walking distance of the Botanical Gardens.
Overnight: Papyrus Guest House (Bed and Breakfast)
Day 2: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Transfer to Entebbe Airport for your light aircraft flight to Kisoro.
Head to Lake Mutanda for your guided canoe excursion on the scenic lakes. Look out for brown otters as you journey in traditional dugout canoes.
Continue onward to the lodge where you stay for two nights.
Overnight: Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge (Full Board – Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)
Day 3: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Today you will enjoy the wildlife encounter of a lifetime as you trek the majestic mountain gorillas.
Optional afternoon activities may be discussed with the lodge. We recommend a visit to the local school and the BATWA pygmies community (extra cost applies).
Overnight: Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge (Full Board – Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)
Days 4-6: Masai Mara National Reserve
Board an early morning light aircraft flight back to Entebbe, followed directly by a further flight to the Masai Mara.
Enjoy a shared game drive as you journey to Governors Camp for a stay of three nights.
During your stay, enjoy daily shared game drives which operate three times a day. Governors Camp has one of the best locations in the Mara, on the river and away from the crowds. Animals wander freely through the camp and sightings of big cats are common in this area.
Optional walking safaris, hot air balloon safaris and visits to the local Masai villages or schools are also available at additional cost.
Overnight: Governor’s Camp (Full Board Plus – Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Activities)
Day 7: End of Itinerary
After breakfast or lunch, transfer to the airstrip where you depart on a shared light aircraft flight back to Nairobi’s Wilson Airport.
On arrival you will be met and transferred to the international airport where you continue with your onward arrangements.
