Day 1: Volcanoes National Park

On arrival into Kigali you will be taken on a city tour (genocide memorial included), before transferring to the Volcanoes National Park.

In the afternoon you will be escorted on a walking tour of the local village. This is an excellent way to meet the people who live side by side with the forest and view demonstrations on weaving, cooking and basket making.

Overnight: Mountain Gorilla View Lodge (Full Board – Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

 

Day 2: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

In the morning you will be transferred to the trekking HQ where you join a walking group to trek the golden monkeys.

In the afternoon, transfer across the border into the Bwindi National Park where you stay for two nights at Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge.

Overnight: Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge (Full Board – Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) 

 

Day 3: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Today you will enjoy the wildlife encounter of a lifetime as you trek the majestic mountain gorillas of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

In the afternoon, explore the community and conclude your tour at the scenic view point of the six volcanoes. This is truly one of the best views in Africa!

Overnight: Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge (Full Board – Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) 

 

Day 4: End of Itinerary

At your leisure you will be transferred back to Kigali. We will drop you off at the airport or a city hotel.

* Flight departing after 2:00pm is required.

* Those with late evening flights may wish to stop off at Lake Mutanda en-route, where you can enjoy a guided canoe excursion at extra cost.
