Day 1: Nairobi
On arrival into Nairobi having traveled under your own flight arrangements, you will be privately transferred to your hotel where you stay for one night.
Time permitting, you may wish to arrange a visit to The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust or Giraffe Centre. Contact us for more details.
Overnight: Tamarind Tree Hotel (Bed and Breakfast)
Days 2-3: Samburu National Reserve
Journey North from Nairobi to Samburu passing through some breath-taking scenery dotted with rushing mountain streams and fields of tea and coffee. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and spend the afternoon exploring.
Spend the next day exploring the rugged landscape of Samburu. The lodge is situated on the banks of the Uaso Nyiro River so you might not have to journey far to see the wildlife and birds. Enjoy a drink at the ‘crocodile bar’ overhanging the river.

Day 4: Aberdare National Park
After breakfast, journey into the forests of the Aberdare Mountain range, arriving at Outspan for lunch, before continuing on to Treetops.
Treetops is legendary for its historical royal connection and the sheer joy of exploring a tree house visited by rhino, elephant, buffalo, lion, bushbuck and waterbuck. The waterhole is floodlit and there is an underground viewing platform.

Day 5: Nakuru
Journey to Lake Nakuru enjoying a game drive on the way to your lodge where you stay for one night.
Spend the afternoon exploring Lake Nakuru National Park which is home to a wealth of animals and boasts incredible views. Flocks of pink flamingos gather (seasonal) and game sightings include both Black and White Rhinos as well as the endangered Rothschild Giraffe.
Overnight: Lake Nakuru Lodge (Full Board – Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)
Days 6-7: Masai Mara
After breakfast transfer to the Masai Mara National Park where you stay for two nights. Arrive in time for lunch at the lodge and spend the afternoon exploring the park with your guide.
The following day will be spent on morning and afternoon game drives searching out the famous wildlife residents including rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, cheetah and many more.

Overnight: Keekorok Lodge (Full Board – Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)
Day 8: End of Itinerary
After breakfast, depart the Masai Mara.
Journey alongside acres of wheat and barley farms, as well as the vast plains of the Rift Valley. Keep an eye out for herds of giraffe and gazelle before heading up the rift escarpment.
Arrive into Kenya’s bustling capital in the early afternoon, where you will be dropped off in the city centre or at the airport for ongoing travel arrangements.
