Day 1: Entebbe

On arrival into Entebbe you will be met and assisted to your hotel.

Day 2: Fort Portal

After breakfast, sit back and relax on this scenic journey to Kibale Forest.

Enjoy an afternoon guided tour of the crater lakes region and communities.

Overnight: Kyaninga Lodge (Full Board Plus – Dinner, Bed, Breakfast, Lunch and Activities)

 

Day 3: Fort Portal

Today you will trek the chimpanzees. Kibale Forest offers the most reliable sightings, however, due to the speed of the chimpanzees, sightings cannot be guaranteed.

In the afternoon, embark on a guided nature tour of Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, home to a variety of birds and small primates.

**Upgrade to a full-day with the chimps on the habituation experience and follow them from waking to nesting. Extra cost applies.

 

Day 4: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

This morning you will transfer to Bwindi National Park.

Your journey takes you past the equator line marker where you will stop for a photo opportunity and rest break at the cafe.

In the afternoon, enjoy a guided community tour, or choose to have a cookery lesson or basket weaving lesson at the Ride 4 A Woman Homestay (pre-booking required for the lessons).

Overnight: Bwindi Lodge (Full Board Plus – All Meals, Local Drinks and Activities)

 

Day 5: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Enjoy the wildlife encounter of a lifetime as you trek the majestic mountain gorillas.

In the afternoon, browse the craft markets, walk to the river or visit the local school and orphanage.

Day 6: End of Itinerary

After breakfast you will be transferred to the airstrip. Depart on a short light aircraft flight back to Entebbe where you continue with your onward arrangements.
