Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Transfer to the airport where you depart on a shared light aircraft flight to Buhoma.

Spend the day with the women of Buhoma as you learn to sew, weave, cook, try farming, visit the schools and enjoy a traditional dance showcase.

Alternatively swap the above for a a guided community walking tour which offers an insight into the local area, including a visit to the tea plantation, local healer, gin production, schools and hospital.

Overnight: Ride 4 A Woman Homestay (All Meals / Private En-Suite Room)

 

Day 2: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Enjoy the wildlife encounter of a lifetime as you trek the majestic mountain gorillas.

In the afternoon you will be taken on a guided walking tour with the BATWA community to learn about their culture and life in the forest. The BATWA are the original forest dwellers and have many stories to tell about their heritage.

Overnight: Ride 4 A Woman Homestay (Full Board Plus – Dinner, Bed, Breakfast, Lunch and Activities)

 

Day 3: End of Itinerary

Depart after breakfast on a shared light aircraft flight to Entebbe (afternoon flights are also available in high season months).

*Optional day-room or lunch/dinner in Entebbe can be arranged for those with more time between flights. Extra cost applies.
