Day 1: Volcanoes National Park

Enjoy a morning tour of Kigali (genocide memorial entrance included). There are options to extend the city tour at extra cost.

After your tour, transfer to the outskirts Volcanoes National Park.

Overnight: Ingagi Parkview Lodge (Full Board – Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) 

 

Day 2: Volcanoes National Park

Enjoy the wildlife encounter of a lifetime as you trek the majestic mountain gorillas.

You will join up to eight people and may spend one hour  observing the gorillas as you marvel at their size and gentle nature. It is an extraordinary feeling coming face to face with these incredible creatures.

In the afternoon, you will be taken on a shared boat cruise on the twin lakes Burera and Ruhondo.

Day 3: Kigali

In the morning return to the trekking HQ for your golden monkey trek. They are a delight to watch as they spring from tree to tree with their bright bushy tails.

After the trek, enjoy lunch at the hotel (included) before transferring back to Kigali.

Overnight: Hotel Des Mille Collines (Bed and Breakfast) 

 

Day 4: Dar Es Salaam

This morning your guide will transfer you to the airport where you board a regional flight departing to Dar es Salaam (flight not included but we can book this for you as required).

On arrival, you will be transferred to The Southern Sun Hotel.

Overnight: The Southern Sun Hotel (Half Board – Dinner, Bed and Breakfast) 

 

Days 5-9: Ruaha National Park

In the morning, transfer to the airport where you board a shared light aircraft flight to Ruaha/Msembe. Lunch is taken at the lodge before embarking on a shared afternoon game drive.

During your stay here you will be taken on twice daily shared game drives with walking safaris and one complimentary night drive.

Ruaha National Park is East Africa’s largest National Park. Home to dramatic landscape and an incredible variety of wildlife. Game viewing here is remote and exclusive offering an unforgettable safari experience.

Overnight: Kigelia Ruaha (Bed, Breakfast and Local Brand Drinks) 

 

Day 10: End of Itinerary

This morning, board a shared light aircraft flight to Dar es Salaam.

On arrival you will be met and transferred to the international terminal where you connect with your onward flight arrangements.
