Tour Itinerary
Day 2: Nairobi
After an early breakfast, enjoy a full-day private tour of Nairobi. Attractions include:
* The Nairobi Animal Orphanage – serves as a treatment and rehabilitation centre for wild animals, including lions, cheetahs, hyenas, leopards and various monkeys
* Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage – serves as a sanctuary for orphaned animals
* Karen Blixen Coffee Garden (lunch stop)
* Giraffe Centre – serves as a sanctuary for the endangered Rothschild giraffes.
Overnight: Ole Sereni Hotel (Bed and Breakfast)
Days 3-5: Masai Mara
Today, journey through Kenya’s highlands before reaching the Masai Mara in time for lunch.
Throughout your stay, explore the vast plains of the Masai Mara on multiple game drives. This reserve is an extension of the Serengeti and home to the Big-5, so expect plenty of excellent game viewing year round. Migration viewing is possible between August – October.
Overnight: Zebra Plains Camp (Full Board – Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)
Day 6: Nakuru
After an early breakfast, transfer to the spectacular Lake Nakuru Park. Enjoy a game drive en-route to the lodge and in the afternoon as the sun sets.
Lake Nakuru is home to both black and white rhino under a protection program. The present rhino population is over 50 and continuing to multiply. The Rothschild giraffe is another rarity and the park has its fair share of buffalo, leopard, zebra, eland, waterbuck and lion.
Overnight: Sarova Lion Hill Lodge (Full Board – Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)
Day 7: Lake Naivasha
After an early morning game drive return to the lodge for breakfast before making your way to Lake Naivasha, arriving at the camp in time for lunch.
After lunch enjoy a boat trip on Crescent Island before returning to the camp for dinner.
Overnight: Kiboko Luxury Camp (Full Board – Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)
Days 8-9: Amboseli National Park
This morning, journey across the Athi Plains to Amboseli National Park situated at the foot of the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro. The park is famous for it’s elephants but is also home to other animals including lion, cheetah and incredible scenery.
Throughout your stay enjoy twice daily game drives. On a clear day you may see the stunning snow-capped peak of Kilimanjaro on the horizon.
Overnight: Zebra Plains Amboseli Camp (Full Board – Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)
Day 10: End of Itinerary
Following an early morning game drive, catch your last views of Mount Kilimanjaro as you depart Amboseli towards the bustling capital city of Nairobi, arriving late afternoon.
Once in the city, your driver will take you to the Eka Hotel where a day room will be pre-booked for check out at 9:00 pm. A buffet dinner is included at the hotel restaurant.
Your driver will return to collect you from the hotel and transfer you to the international airport where you depart under your own flight arrangements.
