Each guest receives a 30 minute complimentary massage, so what better way to relax and unwind as you enjoy the volcanoes views!

Overnight: Mount Gahinga Lodge (Full Board – Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Local Drinks)

Day 4: Mgahinga Gorilla National Park

Today, head back to the trekking HQ where you embark on the wildlife adventure of a lifetime trekking the mountain gorillas of Mgahinga National Park.

After the trek you may wish to book a community and cultural tour visiting the BATWA tribe. Learn about the history and unique culture through demonstrations of tribal dancing and hunting techniques of old (extra cost applies).

Overnight: Mount Gahinga Lodge (Full Board – Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Local Drinks)

Day 5: Southern Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast you will be transferred to the southern sector of the Queen Elizabeth National Park, known as the Ishasha sector, famous for its rare tree-climbing lions.

Day 8: Hoima

This morning you trek the chimpanzees of Kibale Forest. Be prepared for an exciting hike in the forest. The pace is a little faster than for the gorillas since the chimps move quickly through the trees.

Overnight: Hoima Cultural Lodge (Full Board – Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

Enjoy an afternoon game drive. Murchison Falls offers the best game viewing in Uganda with sightings of lions, giraffe, leopard, elephant, buffalo, crocodile and hippos.

Time permitting you may wish to visit the Boomu Women’s group, specialising in African art and crafts; a perfect place for authentic Ugandan souvenirs.

Day 10: Murchison Falls National Park

Enjoy an early morning private game drive, followed by an afternoon boat cruise to the base of Murchison Falls.

Murchison Falls National Park is Uganda’s largest National Park and derives it’s name from the mighty waterfalls where the River Nile explodes through a narrow gorge and flows to join a placid river through the centre of the park towards Lake Albert.

The area is home to an astonishing biodiversity of wildlife with dense rainforest and open savannah. Chimpanzee are also found here in Budongo Forest and you can see just about every type of bird including the Giant Shoebill.

Overnight: Bakers Safari Lodge (Full Board – Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Local Drinks and Hot Beverages)

Day 11: Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

This morning you will transfer to Amuka Lodge.

Amuka Lodge is the only lodge located within the private Rhino sanctuary known as ZIWA Rhino Project, which is home to over 30 White Rhino.

In the afternoon a ranger will take you on foot to view the rhinos as they roam semi-wild on the reserve. This is an opportunity to get very close to one of the Big-5 and, if you are lucky, you might see them later roaming the lodge grounds. Leopard are also occasionally sighted too.

Overnight: Amuka Lodge (Full Board – Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

Day 12: End of Itinerary

There will be an opportunity to take a morning canoe trip which is an excellent chance to spot the shoebill and other endemic birds and smaller wildlife.
